The nine-week regular season has concluded in the MHSAA. Now, the playoff bracket has been released and five of the Tribune's area teams qualified for the postseason.

Sportswriter Tom Greene spoke with Cass City coach Scott Cuthrell, Deckerville coach Bill Brown, Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port coach Dave LeVasseur, Harbor Beach coach Troy Schelke, and Ubly coach Eric Sweeney, as each of the five teams begin their quest for a state championship.
