There will always be the temptation to manicure our lawns rather than plow up our fields. In today's episode, we will talk about uprooting the lies we believe rather than simply layering the truths of God on top of them. When we manicure our lawns (or layer truth on top of our wounds and lies), we are often settling for looking better when God's invitation is that we might live well. In this episode, we'll consider what it would mean to dig around and uproot the lies that we believe rather than attempting to bury them deeper.
We'll talk through a method of prayer in which we invite Jesus into the areas of our woundedness and ask Him to replace the lies that we believe with His specific truth.
