One of the most difficult challenges Jesus gives his followers is to get along with people who hurt us. Forgiving what you can’t forget is a great challenge for the kingdom citizen, but the Holy Spirit supernaturally empowers us to do so. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7)
