Whose side are you on? This is so important. There seem to be so many sides in life. But there really aren’t. There are just two sides: Jesus or Satan. Sin or righteousness. Heaven or hell. There’s no middle ground. Not according to Jesus: “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters” (Luke 11:23). Remember this: Jesus is for you. Arm yourself with the Word of God so that you’re prepared for the devil’s temptations. Do I need to give up something for Lent? You could, but that's not what Lent is really all about. The Bible says, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:32).
