Dan Maigler is a therapist, school social worker, Mental Health Director for Paws for Patrick and host of the podcast Not Allowed to Die, where he and his dog Mariska answer listener questions and explore dilemmas he is seeing in his work.  

Dan has endured the complex grieving of a mental health professional who has lost both clients and his own family members to suicide.  

He has found his healing in volunteering for non-profits and is passionate about teaching grievers to channel their pain into helping others.
