Everyone wants a better life, and to be better at life
It’s not desire that leads us to our destination, but our regular habits.*Science fact has confirmed what God has been saying all along – we become what we regularly do. So to experience the life we want and are meant for comes down to this reality…
Better comes from different habits, not doing more of the same.
Who am I? – Where am I going? – Who am I becoming?
What kind of voices do we have the habit of listening to for daily input?
We're now investing nearly 8 hours a day on digital content, according to a new report from eMarketer.
U.S. adults logged 7 hours and 50 minutes on smartphones, desktops and other devices watching digital content and engaging with online apps in 2020
-which is expected to surpass eight hours a day by 2022
The time is also more than what the average U.S. adult reports that they sleep every night, which is just 7 hours and 36 minutes a night, according to a 2014 Sleep Foundation report.
Social media has a reinforcing nature. Using it activates the brain's reward center by releasing dopamine, a "feel good chemical" linked to pleasurable activities such as sex, food, and social interaction.-McLean Hospital-Feb 2021
The platforms are designed to be addictive and are associated with anxiety, depression and even physical ailments.

What if failed destinations come from the habit of carelessly listening to flawed directions?
All of us follow someone's voice.
Not all voices are good for you.
Jesus proves His voice is trustworthy!
Too much noise can drown out the mot important voices
Turning up the volume can distract us from what is best for us
Making space for God's voice by substituting a habit, not by adding more.
Our destination is often decided by our habit of which voices we listen to most.
Scripture
But the gatekeeper opens the gate for the shepherd, and he goes in through it. The sheep know their shepherd's voice. He calls each of them by name and leads them out. John 10:2-4
When he has led out all of his sheep, he walks in front of them, and they follow because they know his voice. John 10: 2-4
A thief comes on ly to rob, kill and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.
...and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice...John 10:15-16
