Since then, hikers, ski patrollers, and Boy Scouts have reported terrifying encounters with a figure in a military uniform, missing limbs, and a propeller blade protruding from his chest. This Pacific Northwest urban legend has been scaring kids to stay in their cabins for decades. Is it fact, fiction, or something in between?
