Future of the Development of Electric Charging

The increased interest in sustainable transportation, including electronic vehicles, has pushed infrastructure developers and charging station manufacturers to keep innovating and improving the technology. As of 2021, EV charging is one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. The governments’ efforts to promote purchasing and using EVs generates increasing demand for charging stations, making the EV charging market grow very fast. The EV charging station market was evaluated at 4.3bln euros in 2020 and is expected to grow 5 to 7 times in the next 5 years. This pushes industry players to think of more and more advanced developments. Considering such a considerable rise in the EVs’ popularity and the growing market of the charging industry begs the question: what awaits us in the electric charging sector?
