Iqbal Ashhar is a very popular contemporary Urdu Poet. He is famous for his Ghazal, Nazm & Geet. When he wields his pen, it produces classical ghazals as well as progressive style of Urdu poetry. He is well versed in both art forms. He is extremely popular in mushairas & Kavi Sammelans, folks line up to listen to him.
