Taimur Rehman aka Qasid, is a narrator of Urdu Literature and Poetry from Pakistan. Since 2012, Taimur has performed at South Asian Literature Festival London, TEDx Change, TEDx Islamabad, TEDxNUST, TEDxMultan, TEDxAIOU, Islamabad Literature Festival, Children's Literature Festival, Teachers Literature Festival, Faisalabad Literature Festival, Open Islamabad, Jashn-e-Urdu Dubai and many other places. In his own words, “Urdu Literature is my addiction!” Taimur also holds the honour of being endorsed by the legendary Oscar Winner lyricist Gulzar Sb for his works. He also is the creative mind behind the famous Urdu Shawls known as Orhnis and Doshalas, as a tribute to Urdu literature & poetry.

In this podcast Taimur shares with us his journey to finding the love of his life, his passion and how he continues to live with this passion turned  addiction. He delightfully shares with us his favorite authors and poets in the Subcontinent, with Gulzar Saab being his most favorite. Taimur gives us pointers on how identity is really formed when we have a close connection with our mother tongue, how we can make  tiny efforts to keep our language alive.
