Almost every day, we have at least 4-5 interactions with AI or about AI. In a world full of AI solutions, funding, companies, and use cases, it takes a master of technology to separate the wheat from the chaff.
We spoke to one such master, Urvashi Tyagi, on the most recent episode of Women Who Build. Urvashi is a Former CTO of multi-billion dollar listed companies, ResMed and ADP, and is currently advising ResMed and several other technology companies. She has been at the forefront of AI and several other novel technology cycles in the past.

Urvashi’s visionary approach transformed ResMed from a regional focus to a global product and customer-centric organization, integrating devices, digital platforms, data, and AI to create seamless customer experiences that changed 150 million lives in 140 countries. At ADP, the key strategic initiatives she led included rationalizing the product portfolio, modernizing user experience, building core platforms and engineer experiences, leading digital enablement and marketplace, and implementing robust security and governance frameworks for applications, infrastructure, and data.
She has also held leadership roles at American Express, Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM. Urvashi's achievements have been widely recognized, including being named among Technology Magazine's Top 100 Technology Leaders and CDO Magazine's Top 100 Data Leaders. She serves on the board of AdvaMed Digital Health to advance industry-wide strategic priorities for AI, interoperability, and digital reimbursements. Urvashi also serves on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Arts & Sciences advisory board and was recognized with the Robert H. Goddard Alumni Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement.
