In episode 7, we finish off Luke 11 with a scathing rebuke from Jesus towards the Pharisees - Jesus does NOT hold back at all in this section! Jesus brings out his point with a few different examples, and makes it very clear what he thinks of their practices and priorities. But why does Jesus speak so harshly to the Pharisees? Do we still see some of these issues that Jesus spoke against surfacing today? And what can we learn from Jesus’ rebuke in order to ensure we are not guilty of the same sins? Welcome to the first ever episode of 'RealMoments - Bible Time', hosted by DappyDaniel and Abbie Adi. We're glad you've decided to join us on our journey through that Big Ole Book called The Bible!

We've been doing our personal  'Bible Time'  together for a while now. Before we had the idea to start the podcast, we'd been reading the Gospel of Luke, and had already covered the first 8 chapters.  So in this episode, we're jumping straight into Chapter 9. It's a long chapter, so we've split it in 2 and are covering the first half here.  We're reading from 'The Message' version , and we cover the sections 'Keep It Simple', 'Bread and Fish for Five Thousand', 'Don't Run From Suffering' and 'Jesus in His Glory'.
