Without such psychosocial changes in society, environmental, climatic, social justice and other issues cannot be progressed. We're in a phase where we need to reassess the fundamental tenets of civilisation - why we're here and what on earth we really are doing. People do want to live in a more human society. We need to develop a world consensus about where we're going.
