As of this writing: A U.S. defense official briefing reporters on Wednesday said the Russian military convoy lurching toward Kyiv “is stalled,” and that Russian troops are “suffering shortages of both” food and fuel. The official said 82% of Russian troops amassed along Ukraine’s border in the weeks leading to the invasion are now in-country, and that Russian forces have launched 450 missiles “of all stripes and sizes” against Ukraine. The US has supplied defense weapons to the Ukrainians, including anti-tank Javelins and anti-aircraft Stingers, along with ammunition and other supplies.
