I’m joined today by USAF LtCol (Ret) Ron Neeper. Ron grew up in Moody, TX. Always wanting to join the military, he attended Baylor University in 1984 and was a cadet in their Air Force ROTC program. He was commissioned in 1987 as a 2nd Lt and attended Navigator training at Mather AFB, CA. There, he selected the B-52 airframe and went to Castle AFB, CA for B-52 Navigator/Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) training. His first assignment was on the B-52H model out of Carswell AFB, TX. In 1992, he switched airframes to the RC 135 Rivet Joint and was stationed at Offutt AFB, NE until 1998.
