Welcome to episode 18 of the Find Your More podcast with Cassie Woods, where we explore how the little things in life can have a big impact. In today's episode, we're going to dive into a tiny habit that can unlock significant results in your life. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen the daily journal prompts I've been sharing. If we're not connected there yet, let's change that. Find my Instagram account linked in the show notes and join in. You can also opt-in to receive a daily text message with a journal prompt throughout June to boost your self-awareness. This habit will transform your summer months into a season of growth, empowering you to emerge as a new person in the fall.

Journaling in a specific way helps program your brain to introspect and observe your thoughts and emotions, revealing patterns and enabling you to influence the outcomes in your life. It enhances decision-making, confidence, and intentional living. I know you're committed to personal growth and have goals in various areas of your life. This tiny habit of journaling is the key to unlocking new levels of success, step by step.

I understand the resistance to journaling. I was once skeptical too, associating it with touchy-feely practices or using it only during challenging times. But trust me, journaling goes beyond that. If you've struggled to stick with it or found it unproductive, you're not alone. But let's challenge that mindset and allow ourselves to grow.

Journaling has had a profound impact on my business, income, relationships, parenting, faith, and overall self-awareness. To start, I suggest a structured approach. Begin with gratitude, writing down one thing you're grateful for daily. Gradually expand to three to five things, fostering the habit of reflection and observation. Incorporating prayer and using a framework on days when focus is difficult can be beneficial.

Self-awareness is crucial for personal growth. Daily questions and prompts help us observe our thoughts and ensure we consciously show up in every important area of our lives. Without slowing down and asking ourselves these questions, we operate on autopilot, missing opportunities for intentional growth and improvement.

The brain's reticular activating system directs our awareness toward what we focus on. Journaling allows us to consciously choose our areas of focus, aligning our energy and attention with what we want to improve. By journaling, you can gain insights, uncover new possibilities, and find solutions to long-standing challenges.

I share a personal example of how journaling helped me reframe my weaknesses and tap into my strengths. It's more effective and rewarding to build on our strengths rather than solely focusing on our weaknesses. By journaling, we can gain clarity on where we excel and where we need improvement, leading to significant growth.

If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I encourage you to dedicate just five minutes a day to journaling for self-awareness. With consistency, you'll witness transformation within 30 days and create tremendous momentum heading into the next quarter. Don't miss the opportunity to increase your self-awareness specifically for growth by joining the daily journaling prompts in the show notes.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude.
