We’ve been talking about the difference between being called and being chosen, and this week, we look at four lives that force us to wrestle with that reality in a deeper way: Saul, Samson, Balaam, and Judas.
Each of them had influence. Each of them was used. Each of them was close to what God was doing.
And yet… something went wrong.
This episode asks a hard but necessary question:
Is it possible to be used by God, and still not truly belong to Him?
Through these stories, we uncover a truth that challenges surface-level faith: spiritual activity is not the same as surrender. Gifts are not the same as character. And proximity to God is not the same as a heart that’s fully His.
If you’ve ever assumed that being involved, gifted, or even successful spiritually means everything is right, this conversation will make you think again.
Take a moment, lean in, and ask yourself honestly:
Am I just doing things for God… or do I truly belong to Him?
