USFL week 3 included the USFL New Orleans Breakers at the USFL Birmingham Stallions, the USFL Memphis Showboats at the USFL Houston Gamblers, the USFL Pittsburgh Maulers at the USFL Philadelphia Stars, and the USFL New Jersey Generals at the USFL Michigan Panthers.

The XFL playoffs included the XFL Arlington Renegades at the XFL Houston Roughnecks and the XFL Seattle Sea Dragons at the XFL D.C. Defenders.
