You are not incapable of growing and learning just because you're no longer a child. Also, those things you thought you were just 'bad' at and as a result have shied away from at work... a lot of those skills can be learned and improved upon. Before you can fix the problem, however, you must come to see your brain for what it is - a growing, learning machine. It just needs the right help.
