The Wellbeing Wanderer Podcast

Using emotional consciousness as guidance for dating and for finding alignment

Listen Later

In today's episode of 'The Wellbeing Wanderer Podcast' Kat shares her experience of the importance of being able to identifying when we have an emotional reaction within our decision making process and how we can use this to guide us into making the right choice for us. Doing so brings you into alignment - your mind, body and soul are working in harmony with each other and in a way that best serves you. If you are feeling off balance, then this episode is for you.

Key points covered in today's episode:

  • How when are emotions are particularly strong we are knocked off our center and because of the law of polarity it means we are now closer to the opposite end of the spectrum and therefore more at risk of the situation/circumstance being flipped on it's head.
  • Our bodies are naturally always trying to regulate and bring us back to a state of balance and equilibrium
  • If you are putting efforts towards a new venture/project etc and want it to last, making that decision from a balanced emotional state will create that sustainability. If there is too much or too little energy/emotion involved your efforts will be short lived.
  • If you are in a dark place right now, thanks to the laws of polarity you know that you can go as high as you are low which can be a comforting thought in those challenging times.
  • Making decisions from a place of calm and centeredness will lead to true alignment. Kat uses a former dating example to explain this.
  • When you are connected well to your body you can detect those subtle feelings/energy/physiological effects within you that signal the truth of an experience you are having to you however quite often our ego steps in and tries to take over.
  • When in comes to finding a romantic partner, the right person for you will not cause you confusion, worry, anxiety, doubt and unbalanced, they will make you feel like calm, centered and safe to be yourself.
  • Kat shares that thanks to all the inner work and the love she has shown herself she now has the courage and strength to walk away from those men that are not right for her as now she values, respects and loves herself.
  • Don't stop yourself from experiencing the extremities of your emotions because without this you will not be able to find your center point or appreciate it when you get there and also as humans we are here to experience it all.
  • Wherever you are in life right now, know that you are exactly where you are supposed to be, you are meant to be experiencing it all.
  • Everything is in a constant state of change, of fluctuation, of evolvement and it will not stay the way it is forever, all we have is right now, so enjoy the ride :)
