Using hands when dog handling
Using your hands:
-Praise and reward only until your finesse/timing is there and your puppy is responding to: verbal, body language and leash.
- If done wrong using your hands ends up having a reverse effect (hands on a dog trying to get through a threshold or right about to be a dog fight for example).
-I hardly use my HANDs while HANDling dogs… (see what I did there😊)
-Hands mimic the timing and technique of your leash
-Hands are for guidance, not forcing.
