welcomes to the ASKPodcast, where we talk about technology and people in this episode Maliamungu Richard joins us, a 24-year-old South Sudanese male currently living in the Eden Rhino camp refugee settlement in Uganda. Richard is a self-taught innovator who learned about open-source technology through the #ASKnet project in 2018. He has since participated in numerous open tech events through the Hubs and became an Adjunct Trainer for the r0g agency in 2020 for the #ASKnet project. Richard is passionate about environmental protection and has been working on creating automatic water dispensers using recycled plastic containers to reduce plastic disposal and help prevent the spread of diseases in his community.
