On this episode we speak to one of our shining-star Honors Alumni, Claire Scott-Bacon! Claire is an "un-traditional" student who began her time at FIU at the age of 48 after raising two sons and running her own photography business. Claire went above and beyond during her time at FIU and is now currently earning her PhD in Clinical Psychology (with a focus on dark personality traits) at the University of Notre Dame! On this episode we discuss her time at research clinics for jury decisions with the impacts of Ebonics, her time in the FIU College of Law's Death Penalty clinic, how to create your own opportunities, and why more people of color should consider earning their PhD!
