A year ago this month, Two black men were arrested for doing the same things white people were doing. Sitting in a Starbucks but not drinking their coffee. With the help of Melissa and Michelle this incident spread like a wildfire causing Starbucks to extend apologies, and complete sensitivity training for all it's employees. Since then, the ladies started an organization called From Privilege to Progress. Together they are using their platform to discuss the biases and privilege white people enjoy and how they can use their privilege to be better allies for black people and other people of color.
