Utah is an extremely cultural place, partly due to the amount of universities we have here! University of Utah Marriot Library has some incredible exhibits and events going on right now, as well as Brigham Young University's Museum on Art! Art After Dark is an ongoing series with different themes, currently spotlighting African American Art. In addition, the Museum of Contemporary Art here in Downtown Salt Lake City is holding a Grand Opening of 5 featured exhibits called the Comprehensive Museum. There are also tons of options for local galleries and specialty museums as well. For the kids, Kimball Art Center holds Arts and Crafts Classes for various ages that teach about certain subjects and lets them explore their creative side though painting, drawing, sewing, collages, and more!
