Morgan Scalley, Utahs new head coach, capitalized on a Las Vegas Bowl victory to initiate a significant offseason overhaul. Following Kyle Whittinghams move to Michigan, six coaches, including offensive coordinator Jason Beck, left for Ann Arbor. Scalley, who had been preparing for the role, swiftly hired six new coaches and promoted one, filling eight positional roles evenly between offense and defense. On offense, Kevin McGiven, Jordan Gross, Mark Atuaia, Luke Wells, and Chad Bumphis were hired, while Colton Swan, Sharrieff Shah, Inoke Breckterfield, Luther Elliss, and Derrick Odum joined the defense. With this new staff in place, the Utes are poised for a strong start to the next season.
