Mother and daughter African elephants Christie and Zuri are moving to a new home in lieu of a pause of the elephant by Utah’s Hogle Zoo. Some are saddened by the departure while others are happy at the possible permanent shutdown of the exhibit. Utah’s Hogle Zoo’s VP of Programs Liz Larsen talks about the new opportunities for the animals and response to whether this will be permanent.
