Then finally cracked open some hockey:

- Darnell Nurse signs an 8 year, 74 million dollar deal
- The Oilers various depth signings made over the last month
- The Hurricanes/Canadiens RFA saga
- NHL jersey ads are coming
- The NHL, NHLPA and IIHF come to an agreement to send NHL players back to the Olympics
- Our thoughts and condolences to the family and friends of Jimmy Hayes
