For our first episode of this season, Corinne sits down with Kayla Trascher. Kayla serves as The Woodlands Arts Council’s Administrative & Event Coordinator. She has been with the Arts Council for almost two years facilitating TWAC’s smaller events and making ART matter in our community! Kayla graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies and a General Business minor. Born and raised in The Woodlands, Kayla was ecstatic to return home and start her professional career. Upon graduation, she worked in the wedding industry as the Assistant Coordinator for Weddings by Andrea. In 2022, Kayla started as an intern at The Woodlands Arts Council and was offered a full-time position at the completion of the internship. In her free time, Kayla enjoys cheering on the Horned Frogs, spending time with her friends, and traveling with her family. We hope you enjoy today's episode and the new season!
