Utilizing the systems for greater good
Today is a special day.
Because I’m pretty sure this is my one hundredth episode.
It’s also a special day because I’m gonna go out on a limb, and tell you to do something that I’ll bet might be disturbing to most.
As the title implies,
I’m talking about actually utilizing such horrible things as plastic and non-recyclables to a certain extent.
You see I talk a lot about how we didn’t get here overnight and we sure as hell are not going to get out of here overnight.
One of my greatest fears is that most people who are so busy,
will try to do the zero waste thing only to fail.
And that they may also feel judge mental towards themselves,
and have a certain level of depression knowing that they are not doing their part to do good towards a cleaner life.
That they will try to incorporate these things and find out that they are actually overextending themselves.
And that they may give up entirely on the whole thing.
I’d like to suggest that for those of us that are in these situations of business, that we take baby steps and do things in small proportion’s.
That we utilize the wasteful system in order to get off the system entirely and forever.
Just my own personal observation.
Now I know a lot of people do have the time.
But I also know that the majority do not.
I’m hoping for some sort of happy medium to make a big difference for the future of our society and ourselves.
I am not proud of using wasteful products but I understand the systems thinking.
I think a lot of us are used of conveniences.
I think for certain people, this could be very difficult to not have these conveniences any longer.
I also think that we need to develop a way back and help the earth and the people that live on it by designing something that is comfortable and more so measurable for the long term goals.
