D&D Beyond Homepage: contains tons of free tips and articles on D&D trends and releases (NOTE: the rest of D&D Beyond's platform is locked behind a subscription model paywall.)
Eigangrau's Generator: This is an incredible free tool that generates random towns, complete with detailed shops, geography, history, quests, and NPC inhabitants.
Reddit: Specifically r/dnd and r/roll20. If you're an active Reddit user like me, you'll occasionally find gems when content creators share free samples of their work, including, maps, monsters, items, mechanics, etc.
YouTube: Specifically Web DM and Taking20's "Roll20 Master Series." Both of these channels have helped me broaden my perspective on what's possible in TTRPGs and what creates the most enjoyable experience.
