One of the holy places of the Kumaon region, Nanda Devi Temple Almora has special religious significance. The history of this temple is more than 1000 years old. Built-in the Kumaoni style of architecture, this temple is dedicated to the Ishta Devi of the Chand dynasty. It has been constructed on the outer hall of the Shiva temple.
