Richard Olsen's mission is to work against inequality by providing access to financial markets to everyone. With his background as a PhD of law from the University of Zurich and over 25 years of professional experience as an FX dealer, a researcher, a high-frequency trading specialist and a serial entrepreneur of financial marketplaces, he is more than well-served to do so.

The great-grandfather of the crypto sector himself, Richard is founder and CEO of Lykke, a Swiss marketplace and pioneer provider of investment and trading infrastructure for blockchain assets. He previously founded Oanda, a forex and CFD trading platform and data service for traders, acquired by the large private equity firm CVC Capital Partners in 2018. He also co-authored the book "Introduction to High-Frequency Finance".

Lykke is the Danish word for "happiness". Join our talk with Richard to learn more about why finance can be a source of global happiness and how Richard and his companies are contributing for that to happen.
