Every year paramedics in the Milwaukee area respond to tens of thousands of calls for help. Research has shown that a very small number of callers - a group of about 100 people - are responsible for thousands of those emergency calls. This summer, UWM's College of Nursing and the Milwaukee Fire Department are collaborating on a special program to train paramedics on how to provide special care to those repeat callers.
