The Hall of Legends, established by Riot Games, honors those who have made "legendary contributions" to League of Legends esports. Following Faker's (South Korean esports player, Lee Sang-hyeok) 2024 induction, Chinese esports player Jian Zihao, known as Uzi, became the second inductee and the first Chinese player in the Hall of Legends in 2025. Riot Games highlighted Uzi's "unparalleled mechanics as a bot-laner," "dedication to the game," and "profound impact on global esports." As China's first inductee, Uzi symbolizes the region's shift from "follower" to "cultural exporter." By honoring a player who shaped ADC (Attack, Damage, Carry) gameplay, expanded esports' social footprint, and bridged East-West fanbases, it validates esports as a culture-driven industry where influence, innovation, and inspiration outweigh championship counts.
