Wochenvorschau auf das Programm der Freien Republik. Milo Rau im Gespräch mit Gäst:innen aus den laufenden Produktionen.
Zu Beginn der Sendung spricht Milo Rau mit zwei Mitgliedern des Rats der Republik – Belma Bešlić-Gál und Monika Mokre. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Wiener Erklärung, insbesondere ihr erster Punkt, der festhält: Nur vielfältige Perspektiven ermöglichen ein vielfältiges Programm. Anschließend gehen sie auf das Thema Cancelling im Kontext des Wiener Kongress und der Festwochen ein.
Im zweiten Teil der Sendung kommen zwei Mitglieder des neu gegründeten Programmbeirats zu Wort, der sich erstmals getroffen hat, um das Programm für das Jahr 2026 zu gestalten. Quito Tembe und Natasha Tripney sprechen über blind spots und fehlende Repräsentation im Programm.
In the first part of the program, Milo Rau speaks with two members of the Council of the Republic — Belma Bešlić-Gál and Monika Mokre. They discuss the Vienna Declaration, focusing in particular on its first point: that only diverse perspectives can lead to a truly diverse program. They then address the topic of „cancelling“ in the context of the Congress of Vienna and the Festwochen.
In the second part, Milo Rau gets joined by two members of the newly established Program Advisory Board , which has convened for the first time to shape the 2026 program . Quito Tembe and Natasha Tripney talk about blind spots and the lack of representation in the program
