Episode 11 of APP
(Recap of Packers vs. Lions)
Topics:
X’s & O’s
The defense is terrible - all 11 preferred starters were present and still performed horrendously
Brett Hundley still had a handcuffed gameplan given to him by McCarthy - he missed some throws but he still only averaged less than 5 yards per attempt, which is anemic for a QB (starter or backup)
Aaron Jones only played for about half the first quarter then was essentially benched for the whole game after he missed a blitz pick-up assignment...dont get that either
The starting offensive line only lasted for about half the game - Brian Bulaga was lost for the year with a torn ACL
Outside of Football stuff:
Martellus Bennett - the most hated man in Packer nation right now
Timeline:
Bennett on injury report coming out of the bye with a shoulder
Bennett doesn’t practice all week
Bennett doesn't play in lions game
Bennett is released by the Packers on wednesday with strange and rarely used “did not disclose injury” designation by the Packers, which is code for they want their money back from him
Bennett is claimed on waivers by the Patriots on thursday, practices with the Patriots on friday
No word from Ted Thompson on anything related to Martellus Bennett saga - instead McCarthy is left to be the messenger for the front office - not a good look

The entire packer organization is a fraud. We were led to beLIEve that TED, MM and DC knew what they are doing.
WOW, WHAT A BLEEPING MF BLEEPING TRAIN WRECK OF AN ORGANIZATION
Can somebody shove Dom Capers in his car's trunk
Trade Rodgers for a bunch of draft picks and begin rebuilding the team. It would be respectful to Rodgers to let him go.
Oh how great this roster is. There. Happy? Now go send your resume and salary requirements to Delusional-R-Us.
All they have to do is win 3 more games and then Rodgers comes back. Then win all three playoff games on the road and get to the Superbowl
Business/League stuff:
Jerry Jones threatening to sue the league over language in the Roger Goodell extension
The NFL is at a crossroads right now in my opinion - ratings are down, injuries are up (to a lot of star players) and the quality of product on the field is down
