[Racing to fill Taiwan’s vaccine shortage]

Foxconn founder Terry Gou’s Yonglin Foundation and other private entities are working to buy millions of COVID-19 vaccines, as Taiwan faces the worst outbreak since the pandemic began. Government efforts have so far sourced 20 million foreign vaccines, but only about a million have arrived. Officials say that China interfered with some of its global orders.
