Originally from South Africa, Vagner has been a staple in the BC teaching sector for many years, most notably as an instrumental member and coordinator of Windermere Secondary’s Leadership Program, an award-winning, 5-year program for high school students. The program seeks to inspire, challenge, and provide opportunities for students in the areas of social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

Today we’re excited to have him on the show where he’ll be enlightening us around some very significant topics, such as how cultural norms impact education, how to be engaged in active citizenship, and how others can learn from him and implement programs like this.
