Episode 8 of Syfy’s Vagrant Queen is a love letter to all those CLUE fans out there. Starting off the episode we are thrust back into the story line we’ve grown familiar with thus far but this time, there is a twist. From the acting style, to the music, to even the sound effects, we could tell this episode was a bit different from the rest, in the best way. Just as the crew starts to relax over a few brews, Amae, Isaac and Elida are then interrupted by the Intergalactic Parking Authority (IPA). The IPA have come to collect money owed or to collect the ship itself. Overlapping with the infamous story of CLUE, this episode is full of references, lines and even props from the movie CLUE, but of course with a Vagrant Queen twist. Once the comedic dust settles the trio is given some devastating news about the intentions of a former allied general that could have devastating consequences for our rag tag crew moving forward.

In episode 6 of Vagrant Queen entitled “Requiem for Republic” we see our trio jump through hurdles on a distant planet. Over the betrayal of Isaac, Elida begins to distance herself, both mentally and physically. This, of course, leads her into trouble. The person who caused the drama, Isaac, saves Elida as she is delusional after being stung by a poisonous insect. After mending broken spirits, the trio makes their way to a neighboring planet to regroup. Upon landing, Elida decides that the trio we’ve come to love needs to break up — suddenly, their ship is stolen, leaving them all stranded with no means of transportation.

The gang crash lands on Planet Wix and is a little banged up. The vine creature give off Tremors vibes and are quite dangerous! While they make their way to the tomb, we get Issac's back story regarding what happened to him five years ago. Hath breaks the news that Elida's mom is not alive and they were just trying to get her there to get the mind controlling device. While in the tomb, poor Dengar sacrifices himself. Lazaro shows up, Krog dies in the unavoidable shoot out, and Hath dies from a cave in but is able to make peace with Elida. It turns out Isaac betrayed Elida but he had good intentions. Lazaro makes off with the device and Elida tells Isaac, "we're done for good."

The gang manages to sneak into Republic space as station employees and the loyalists pretend to be working with Klive (RIP). Amae and Elida have a couple heart to heart chats as well as a couple sexy close encounters - no kiss yet though. Isaac manages to get caught and later tortured by Lazaro. However, Elida leaves no one behind and goes against Hath's suggestion to leave Isaac. This also brings up how she never learned why she should value her own life as queen more than anyone else. As part of the escape, there is an epic shoot out where at the end, it seems Ihred sacrifices herself so the others can escape. Unfortunately, as they are flying away, they run into an asteroid field and the crew has to crash land on a new unknown planet.
Hosts Kari Lane and James Maple discuss episode 4 with special guest Daniska Esterhazy, director of episodes 3 and 4.

In the third episode of SyFy’s Vagrant Queen entitled “Nobody’s Queen” we are given far more insight into the motives of our lead crew on the Winnipeg. We also see Isaac and Amae have an adventure of their own in which they encounter the less-than-welcoming natives of planet Kestallan. Far more information is given to us regarding the motives of loyalists Hath, Dengar and Ihred as well. In this episode we also see the capabilities of the newest member of our team, Winnibot, Amae’s robot. Albeit at a glacial pace, Winnibot saves the day for the entire crew with a high pitch sound that sends those not-so-welcoming natives packing. Lastly, the entire crew, loyalists and all, make their way to planet Wix — but, all for different reasons.

In this episode entitled “Yippee Ki Yay” our trio of unsung heroes are just setting off on their adventure but first must refuel. Stopping at a local planet to gas up proves to be more stressful than either Elida, Isaac or Amae thought. They are attacked by the local aliens and made to sing... for their lives. This episode also gives us flashbacks which offer far greater detail on the contentious relationship between Isaac and Elida. With the addition of a new robot friend, our trio is now a quartet, ready to discover the mystery surrounding Elida’s mother, Xevelyn.
Join host Kari Lane (@karidlane) and James Maple (@terrelljamesmaple) for the second episode of SyFy’s Vagrant Queen with special guest and star of the show, Tim Rozon (@realtimrozon)! Rozon dishes with our hosts as they discuss the motivations of his character, Isaac. He also discusses some of his favorite memories of filming on location in South Africa, his favorite karaoke song, how incredible it is to work with an all female creative team and the one alien swear word he hopes catches on.
