Daily Ski Conditions for Vail, Colorado

If you're heading to Vail, Colorado, now is an excellent time to hit the slopes. As of March 30, Vail has had a decent snow season, with nearly 200 inches of snowfall so far, though it's a bit below the average for this time of year. Unfortunately, current snow depths aren't available, but the resort is expecting more snow soon, with about 3 inches forecasted for the next 48 hours and up to 8 inches over the next seven days.

Currently, Vail has a good number of lifts and trails open, with 30 out of 33 lifts operating and 274 out of 277 trails available. The weather forecast looks promising for skiers, with snow showers expected to continue, mainly before late morning. Today, it's mostly cloudy with highs around 44°F and a moderate west wind.

The upcoming week should see continued cool conditions with a mix of snow and sun, making for great skiing and snowboarding conditions. Off-piste skiing requires caution, so be sure to check the local avalanche risk level before venturing into the backcountry.

Vail typically averages around 254 inches of snow per year, so this season has been a bit lighter but still offers plenty of opportunities for fun on the slopes. Visitors should enjoy the beautiful mountain vistas and varied terrain, especially with more snow on the way. Don't forget to download the Epic App for real-time updates and to plan your visit
