I'm excited to introduce this week's guest, Vaishnavi Viswanathan. We originally met on Instagram, where Vaishnavi interviewed me last year. We’ve had this podcast chat in the plans for almost a year now, and I’m so pleased that we finally made it happen. I hope it inspires you to connect with nature in new and joyful ways!   About Vaishnavi Vaishnavi Viswanathan is a vagabond by heart and loves to explore life to the fullest. She loves to dabble in anything creative, play with dogs, spend time with family and friends, learn new things, watch movies and generally laze around and have fun, especially in nature.   She is an entrepreneur and founder of 2 firms with 20+years of experience as a Leadership Skills Facilitator, Expressive Art Therapy practitioner, Life Coach, and a Certified Forest Therapy practitioner. She has conducted over 3000+ Leadership training programs in organisations like L & T Infotech, Oracle, ICICI, Seimens etc and has over 600+ coaching hours with a PCC certification. In her workshops and coaching, she combines her knowledge and experience from Psychology, Philosophy, Art and Nature to provide a space for others to dive deep within, to discover their authentic self.   She founded ‘Nature Connections’ as a conscious calling, with the purpose of connecting people to Earth’s intelligence and wisdom. She has been a pioneer in India in intuitively conducting Nature-based coaching and Nature-based Leadership sessions for Corporate leaders. Her style is to experientially engage and enable people to connect with nature at a Psychological and Spiritual level with little or no theories or models. This impacts their overall physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being and provides a space to deeply connect with nature and with themselves. Nature connections has facilitated 70+ nature-based sessions for over 800 people in 8 cities in India and Mauritius, for corporates like IBM, Capgemini, LinkedIn, FFG Mag, Shenomics etc with a collaborative team of 12 people across India. She was certified by the European Institute of Forest Therapy and adopts their research-based framework in conducting Forest bathing and Forest therapy sessions. She is an International speaker advocating the importance for organisations to engage with nature and expand their consciousness. She also received the GIFEW Global Women Entrepreneur award in 2020 for her work with nature.   She is a proponent of Conscious living and explores consciousness in as many aspects of her life. Her recent experiment with conscious pregnancy and birthing led to a pain-free labour and no-push delivery at the age of 40 and is now exploring conscious parenting. She believes connecting with nature has been an important aspect for her to live a conscious life, as close to what nature intended it to be.   Vaishnavi's Links Facebook Instagram Linkedin Twitter Website   Listen To This Episode        What You'll Learn What is nature connection and why is it so important The benefits of forest bathing and nature connection Why do some people struggle to connect with nature How you can reconnect with nature Why online nature events can be just as powerful   Things We Discussed Akashic Records   Related Episodes 401 Holly Worton ~ How to Forge a Deeper Connection with Plants and Trees (now with downloadable transcript!) 398 Cara Wilde ~ Opening up to Connecting with Other Realms (now with downloadable transcript!) 394 Suneet Kaur ~ Plant Spirit Healing 392 Kerriann Mackenzie ~ Normalizing Tree Communication (now with downloadable transcript!) 381 Helen Forester ~ How Getting Outdoors Can Help Us Release Creative Blocks (now with downloadable transcript!)   Connect With Holly Website Facebook Instagram Twitter Pinterest Google+ LinkedIn   How to Subscribe Click here to subscribe via iTunes Click here to subscribe via RSS Click here to subscribe via Stitcher   Help Spread the Word If you enjoyed this episode, please head on over to iTunes and kindly leave us a rating and a review!
