1 John chapter 4 beginning at verse 9, “In this the love of God was manifested towards us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation, or the atoning sacrifice, for our sins.”
Some of us can still remember, when on Valentine’s Day, little pieces of paper with hearts were given to each other in the classroom. It’s sad to remember some of the kids with their heads down, feeling both unloved and unwanted.
Thank God that today, we know that Jesus never forgets anyone. He loves you with an everlasting love. This Valentine’s Day, look up. You’ll see a heart floating down to you with the words, “I love you–will you be mine?”
It’s time to pray!
