Valley of Vision takes place in a city that is surrounded by valleys. In these valleys a flow, a flood, of armies come against this city. The people don’t realize the danger until it is too late. The city is Jerusalem and the army is Assyrian. While the danger lies out the gates of the city, the people party as if nothing is happening. For today they party but tomorrow they die. The Lord God of Hosts is prominently featured in these passages. It is the sure, certain will of God who is Lord overall agencies of men, nations, and spiritual principalities.
