What does it mean, and why is it important, to help boys have a clear transition into manhood. In this podcast, we bring up practical things men can do to raise their sons into men, how to guide teen boys into deep maturity, and be intentional about the way in which we walk with our sons into manhood.

What does it mean to grow in our faith? How do we as men, specifically, learn and grow? In this Valor Man Cast, we discuss the growing biblical literacy among men, even young men (Millennials & Gen Z) specifically.

We learn well, like Tim Taylor on the old show, Home Improvement. He had a powerful and life transforming relationship with his half-faced neighbor, Wilson, who acted as a kind of wise sage for Tim's marriage, family, and masculinity. As men, we grow best in a tribe, in community. We need to connect with other men, in friendships, discipleship, and mentor relationships to grow and flourish.

Episode 1: What is a man of valor?

This is the first podcast of our “Valor Man Cast” series! We chose a multi-speaker podcast format which creates a great setting for authentic conversation. This serves to draw our real thoughts and ideas as we talk through various topics related to masculinity and godliness as we live our lives as Men of Valor in the world today.

In this first episode, Alan Felts gets together with Bryce Maurer and Elijah Scheidler to discuss the question “What is a man?” and “What is authentic, godly masculinity?” These are both questions that need to be answered and talked about from a biblical perspective, especially in our confused and lost culture today.
