A class action is being filed in a BC court today against the manufacturers of a the hypertension medication Valsartan, which was pulled from shelves on July 9, after it was found to contain a carcinogen. A Canadian woman who took Valsartan for high blood pressure developed breast cancer after being exposed to the carcinogen. She’s the leading client in the class action.
