As BOILER RUIM'S first release, we have the pleasure to present you "volta" - our collaborative EP featuring friends and resident artists!
Leesa's "Fase" drives us back to ravesick memories, while KHAYYAM's "Shh" introduces a mesmerizing stomping journey. Followed by Brazil's Techno Queen Andrea Gram, "Agglomerations" has a bassline that may seem like a hypnosis session in the middle of the dancefloor. In sequence, our fellow resident Bad Tutz couldn't have done it better with "Sigilo" - a 4/4 sonic bomb filled with crazy synth layers.
Mu540's unmistakable production skills are settled on "POPO540", the brazilian funk piece of cake in the EP; serving us MC RD's remarkable vocals. Our homeboy cosm. delivers "Desmarcado", a broken palmeirense celebration in honor of Muskito, charged with soccer match sampled vocals and witching loops.
Last but not least, we have OG Akin Deckard in the house, presenting the shivering "Criminal Boogie" - a nostalgia trip through Imigrantes Highway to our groud zero city of Santos.
The 7 tracks altogether synthesizes a never-ending passion, fizzing warehouse energy and putting us to bed with a kiss in the forehead.
Note: this release was conceived as part of a fundraising campaign for our security team and distributed among the participants.
