With the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Pokemon Sword and Shield, that pretty much is the last of the big releases at least in the AAA sector. There are obviously still a few smaller titles that will still be released by the end of the year but now most outlets are starting to finalize their game of the year lists, including us. Geoff Keighly and The Game Awards are in full swing at the moment with the event happening in a little under a month. The show will be taking place on December 12th, where there are sure to be some great announcements and The Game Awards has definitely gained credibility over the year and now garners a lot of attention from the media and gamers. It’s a really good project that gets better every year with refinements. The nominees for the event will actually be announced this Tuesday. 2019 is quickly coming to an end but this week on the show we have some stories that are happening right now. We take a look at the US video game charts for the month of October with things going as expected but there are a few things worth talking about.
