As we eagerly await with patience (some people) the price and date of the next generation of consoles including the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5, gamers and fans find themselves in a game of chicken between these two monolithic tech companies. The big question is does Microsoft and Sony have good reason, outside of a global pandemic, to withhold revealing a release date and price.
