In this episode I interview Martina Gregorova, a Public Relations Officer at an international environmental organisation based in London, UK.
Martina is passionate about tackling the climate crisis and she became an accredited Climate Reality Leader in 2020. She spends her free time educating others how to take environmental action for positive change.
Martina is also an enthusiastic vegan and, in this episode, she talks about her own personal journey – when, how and why she became a vegan; how her friends and family reacted to her decision; and what she found difficult about the radical change in her lifestyle; and how it's changed her life for the better.
Martina is from Slovakia and has previously studied and worked in Germany, Austria, the United Arab Emirates and now lives and works in the United Kingdom.
Martina references the following website in her responses to me: https://nutritionfacts.org/ a website founded by American physician Michael Greger, M.D. FACLM.
The two book titles Martina references are: (1) 'How Not to Die' by Michael Greger, M.D. published by US Macmillan and (2) 'Fibre Fueled' - The Plant-Based Gut Health Program for Losing Weight, Restoring Your Health, and Optimizing Your Microbiome 1 by Bulsiewicz, Will (ISBN: 9780593084564) from Amazon's Book Store.
